We emphasize economies in such unsustainable growth areas as public employee health care, corrections and Medicaid with the goal of protecting investments in education and economic development. Health & Wellness Improving the health and well-being of Kentuckians while protecting the bottom line for employers is high on our agenda. We promote policies designed to ease the financial burden that rising health care costs put on Kentucky’s businesses. Kentucky Competitiveness Pro-growth policies that promote business retention and expansion will keep Kentucky competitive – domestically and around the globe. We work to make those policies a reality for the state’s businesses. Energy & Environment Economic growth, energy independence and environmental protection are compatible and complimentary goals. Manufacturing The largest sector of Kentucky’s workforce – manufacturing – is the target of our efforts to create a competitive business environment and a highly skilled workforce.
