Why Attend?

Kentucky has one of the most comprehensive P3 laws that enables local governments to take advantage of the P3 model while also protecting taxpayers. Communities continue to face challenges meeting their needs with the resources available. The public-private partnership model is a procurement tool build community infrastructure and provide services.

When capital is lacking, utilizing the P3 model can make projects happen.

“Our goal is to get local leaders excited about the possibilities of developing projects that might not otherwise happen without P3,” said Kentucky Chamber P3 Workgroup Chairman Warren Rogers of W. Rogers Company. “We know that communities have needs for infrastructure and services but may lack the capital or the desire or ability to take on long-term maintenance. The P3 model can help local officials overcome these and other barriers.”
