Starting the first of many successful businesses in 1975, JB has learned first hand the details, rewards and headaches of running a business in various economic climates.
A 3-tour Vietnam veteran as a corpsman with the Navy Seal Teams, JB has seen the worst than man go do to man and has a burning desire to help people and organizations to achieve their best. He has been a farmer, pastor in the United Methodist Church, family counselor and therapist, bartender, folksinger, salesman, business owner, teacher, professor, father and husband.
Receiving multiple degrees, Dr. Symons, is truly a man with a passion for developing healthy people and corporate environments.
JB is the recipient of Indiana University’s "Excellence in Teaching" award for Adult Education-Continuing Studies. He is the president of Lead to Great, a leadership and organizational consulting group that focuses on helping organizations of all kinds and sizes to play better together.
An enjoyable speaker and humorist JB is continually striving to assist others in the greater use of their potential.
