Building a Stronger Environment for Kentucky Entrepreneurs

Kentuckians are starting businesses at some of the highest rates in the region. But Kentucky has an opportunity to do more to help those businesses grow, create jobs, and contribute to long-term economic growth.

Start Here, Grow Here, an initiative of the Kentucky Chamber Center for Policy and Research, focuses on strengthening the environment for entrepreneurship and helping to make Kentucky a place where more businesses can start, grow, and succeed.

The Kentucky Chamber is bringing entrepreneurs and partners together from across the Commonwealth to better understand what businesses need to succeed and identify solutions that can strengthen Kentucky’s entrepreneurial economy.

We Want to Hear From Kentucky Entrepreneurs

The Kentucky Chamber is traveling across the state in October and November 2026 to hear directly from entrepreneurs through a series of community engagement sessions in partnership with JPMorganChase. Sessions will take place in Northern Kentucky, Western Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky, and a joint session for Louisville and Lexington.

These conversations will give entrepreneurs an opportunity to share their experiences, discuss challenges and opportunities, and help shape recommendations for strengthening entrepreneurship in Kentucky.
