Kentucky Chamber Names Jim Ford Chief Resource Officer

To streamline member benefits and ensure the greatest value for Kentucky businesses, the Kentucky Chamber has named Jim Ford Chief Resource Officer overseeing the Membership and Business Services department of the organization.

During his time at the Chamber, Ford has been an instrumental part of the organization’s growth, including spearheading renowned events like Kentucky Chamber Day and the Business Summit and Annual Meeting, creating successful partnerships with organizations like Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM) and Best Places to Work in Kentucky, and finding solutions to help the ever-changing needs of businesses like selling personal protective equipment during the coronavirus pandemic.

“Jim has been a key member of the Chamber staff for many years and, with his knowledge, expertise and dedication to Kentucky businesses, has grown our revenue steadily over the years. I am excited to have him spearhead this new division of the Chamber to continue providing our members with exceptional value and resources,” said Kentucky Chamber President and CEO Ashli Watts.

With this transition, Sarah Cathey has been named as Senior Director of Operations for the Membership and Business Services department and will continue to help lead the Chamber’s business services.

Additionally, Jessica Moore has been named Director of Membership and Development, serving under the Membership and Business Services department, where she will continue to help lead efforts to grow and engage the Chamber’s membership.

The Chamber is also welcoming back Andrea Flanders to the organization as Director of Sponsorship Relations.
