Child Care Keeps Kentucky Working
Kentucky Employers Leading on Child Care is a statewide initiative that helps businesses address child care as a workforce issue. When working parents struggle to find or afford care, Kentucky employers feel it in hiring, retention, and productivity. Through the initiative, the Kentucky Chamber Foundation, in partnership with Thrive by 5 Louisville and the Lift a Life Novak Family Foundation, works with employers on practical solutions that support working families and strengthen Kentucky’s workforce.
The Foundation provides free, one-on-one assistance to Kentucky employers of all sizes interested in offering child care benefits. The team helps businesses understand their employees’ needs, explore available programs and practical solutions, and put those solutions into action.
