Instruction focuses primarily on Codex and Claude Cowork. You need access to only one platform, and free accounts do not qualify. You must have the paid versions of these tools.

Platforms and accounts

• Codex in the ChatGPT desktop app: ChatGPT Plus or Pro, or an organization-provided ChatGPT Business, Enterprise or Edu account with access to Codex.
• Claude Cowork: Claude Pro or Max, or an organization-provided Claude Team or Enterprise account.
• Microsoft Copilot Cowork: If you already have access, you can apply the same methods here, though the screens and steps will differ. You’ll need a Microsoft 365 Copilot license with Cowork and its required usage-based billing enabled by your organization. A standard Microsoft 365 subscription or Copilot Chat alone does not qualify.

Usage limits apply even on paid plans.

Your computer

• Use a Windows or Mac laptop or desktop with a reliable internet connection. A phone or tablet should not be your main workshop device.
• For Codex or Claude Cowork, install the current desktop app. Microsoft Copilot Cowork runs in a supported browser, such as Edge or Chrome.
• Using a work computer? Check with your IT department ahead of time to confirm you can install or update the app and give it access to the workshop practice folder.
