Mr. Jones is the founder and Member-in-Charge of Jones Howard Law, PLLC. He has over 30 years workers’ compensation litigation experience; Martindale-Hubbell, AV Preeminent Rated. Mr. Jones was selected as one of the “50 Most Influential People in Workers’ Compensation” nationally (2014). He was awarded Corporate International – Workers’ Compensation Attorney of the Year in Kentucky (2015, 2017, 2018); Kentucky Super Lawyers (2008-2020); Lawyer International - Global Awards – Workers’ Compensation Attorney of the Year in Kentucky (2015-2019); Best Lawyers – The Best Lawyers in America (2003-2021); U.S. News - Best Law Firms, Jones Howard Law, PLLC (2016-2020). Mr. Jones has served as President of the Kentucky Bar Association, Workers’ Compensation Section, as well as an adjunct professor at Salmon P. Chase College of Law, where he taught Kentucky workers’ compensation law. He has authored and co-authored numerous texts including three editions of “Workers’ Compensation in Kentucky.” He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Journalism) from University of Kentucky, and a Juris Doctor Degree from Salmon P. Ms. Menefee is an Associate Attorney with Jones Howard Law, PLLC. Her area of concentration is representing and defending employers in workers’ compensation claims throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Prior to joining Jones Howard Law, Ms. Menefee honed her legal research and writing skills as an intern with Ulmer & Berne, LLP. She earned her Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where she was an Associate Member of the Law Review and on the Dean’s Honors List every semester (2004 - 2007). Ms. Menefee received the College of Law Honors Scholarship and the James B. Helmer, Jr. Scholarship which covered the cost of her legal education. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree (Political Science) from Northern Kentucky University, where she attended on a Presidential Full Tuition Scholarship. While at NKU, Ms. Menefee served as a Presidential Ambassador, earned the Enid Henry Award for Excellence in Political Science, and completed the Honors Scholar program, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She is licensed to practice in both Kentucky and Ohio.
