Join the Rising Leaders Program Employer Network
The Kentucky Chamber Foundation would like to extend an invitation to your company to join our Rising Leaders Program employer network.
This program strives to:
- Develop a network of businesses willing to offer paid internships for first-generation college students in the fall 2024 or spring 2025 semester.
Recruit 50 first-generation college students to participate in the Rising Leaders Program who will be matched with businesses based on students’ career interests and location. - Provide program participants with a professional development workshop led by a business coach that will complement their internship.
- Provide a mock interview to interns upon completion of their internship program with no obligation to offer employment.
- Ensure all interns in the Rising Leader Program are given the opportunity to interview for future positions within the company.
We're seeking employers interested in offering paid internships to first-generation college students, helping them gain valuable experience and skills in your industry. Your involvement can significantly shape the next generation of leaders while diversifying your talent pool. Over 100 students have already signed up for internships, and we are excited to start connecting them with your businesses!
