In the Republican Special Election for Senate District 26

FRANKFORT, Ky.—The Kentucky Chamber Political Action Committee (PAC) has endorsed businessman and charitable organizer, Bill Ferko, in the June 23, 2020 special election for Senate District 26, which encompasses Oldham County and part of Jefferson County.

Ferko’s selection for endorsement is based on his answers to the Kentucky Chamber PAC’s 2020 Legislative Candidate Survey, which demonstrated his understanding of business issues and his support for stronger economic policy. Ferko has more than 45 years of experience managing the finances of multi-billion dollar companies located throughout the United States and abroad.

“Kentucky’s business leaders recognize that Bill Ferko is committed to standing up for small businesses and helping current businesses grow. His leadership is needed in Frankfort as our state works to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic,” said the Kentucky Chamber PAC upon issuing their endorsement.

“I am very grateful to receive the support of the Kentucky Chamber PAC. Senate District 26 is the economic engine of Kentucky. We need leaders with experience who can react quickly as we address the changing needs of our local families,” said Ferko in response to the endorsement.

Voters within Senate District 26 have three options to vote in the June 23, 2020 special election: mail-in absentee voting, early in-person voting, and in-person voting on Election Day. On June 23, Oldham County residents will be able to vote in person at the Oldham County High School, while residents living in Jefferson County will vote at the Kentucky Expo Center. With one polling location per county, long lines are a concern. A portal will be available on the Kentucky Secretary of State website on May 22 for voters to order an absentee ballot that will then be mailed to their home; completed absentee ballots may be mailed back or brought to the County Clerk's secure drop box.

Paid for by the Kentucky Chamber Political Action Committee. The Kentucky Chamber PAC is the independent political arm of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce which is the largest broad-based business organization in Kentucky representing family-owned shops to Fortune 500 companies.
